Lido Morelli is a long beach with fine sand and clear sea located in naturalistic park called 'Parco delle Dune Costiere', founded in 2006.
The park includes a wetland with two ponds where it is possible, at certain times of the year, do bird watching, dunes along the beaches and also the 'lame' that that flow to the sea. These are part of the protected area called Lamacornola also called 'Lama di Ostuni'.
In the area there are few organized lidos, such as Lido Morelli and Lido Bosco Verde, and moving towards the coast of the town of Fasano, Lido Azzurro, but much of it is of free access.
You can reach this beach by taking the long east sideroad from the Pilone and follow the signs for the highway to Bari. Just before getting on the E55, on the right, is the sideraod. Driving along this long stretch of road you will find various exits that will take you to the beache and, therefore, the various shores.
